(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday the 27th of August 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a noise complaint at a residence in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. Officers attended the location and observed a quantity of marihuana. One adult male was arrested and taken into custody. The street value of the marihuana is approximately $1500.
An 18 year old male of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands was arrested and has been charged with possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions to a court date in October of 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario.
