(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a male after police investigated an incident at an Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at approximately 1:39 a.m., police were contacted by concerned members of the public and informed about an altercation between a male and female.
Through investigation it has been determined that a male and female became involved in a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a 33 year old male of Norfolk County, Ontario with assault, theft under $5,000 and fail to comply with probation.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
