(COLLINGWOOD, ON.) Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a male and charged him with several criminal offences related to an incident in Collingwood.
On the 6th of September 2014 shortly after 1:00pm officers were dispatched to the Hume Street and Raglan Street area where a female was reporting being in an altercation with a male brandishing a knife. The female victim suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident and was taken to a local hospital. The male suspect was arrested a short time later and taken to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 47 year-old Jorge Manuel PACHECO of Etobicoke, he is charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
