(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 25 year old male after police investigated an incident at a Kent Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, September 6, 2014 at approximately 1:00 p.m., police were contacted and informed about an incident that had taken place in the early morning hours.
Through investigation it has been determined that the 25 year old male became involved in a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation.
As a result of police investigation, members of the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit arrested and charged 25 year old Jared Douglas WITHAM of Norfolk County, Ontario with aggravated assault.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
