(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) A 28 year old Kincardine man was taken into custody on December 25, 2013 around 4:00 p.m. after he assaulted a Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer.
Lambton OPP officers were involved in a disturbance investigation on Waubuno road involving the male when the assault took place. No injuries to OPP officers or the male have been reported.
The male remains in custody awaiting a full bail hearing to answer to the allegations of:
Assault police
Assault police with intent to prevent arrest
Resist arrest
Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
