(Township of Essa) At approximately 1:48 AM, December 19th, 2014, Officers of the Nottawasaqa Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a suspicious male person and that he was observed trying the doors of vehicles in the area of Nardmarc Court in Angus. Upon arrival in the area, officers observed a male party walking near that location.
As officers approached, the male party ran between residences, through backyards, and was located hiding near a trailer on Arnold Court.
A 33 year old male person from Angus was arrested and charged with (1) Theft under $5000.00 (2) Possess of Property Obtained by Crime and (3) Trespass by Night. He will appear in Court at a later date.
