On the 6th of November 2014, Police attended a residence with another agency in regards to a child welfare investigation. As the officers entered the residence to speak with an involved male, they observed the male attempting to conceal an item that was on the coffee table in the living room. The investigating officer observed that the male was attempting to conceal a Ziploc baggy filled with marihuana. Also sitting on the table was a bong apparatus that was used to smoke the marihuana.
Police immediately arrested the male and seized the marihuana and bong. The amount of marihuana seized was approximately 30 grams and had a street value of approximately $300.
The 45 year old male was released with a court date for mid-December.
