(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a situation in which numerous mailboxes were smashed.
On March 14, 2015 the OPP responded to a complaint related to an unknown person(s) smashing mailboxes on Shamrock Road between Sturgeon Road and Centreline Road in the former Emily Township. This type of mischief is considered to be a Criminal Code offence.
Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
