MAILBOX MISCHIEF

(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.)- Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members responded to mischief that occurred overnight into December 1, 2013 in Norwich Township.

Sometime overnight on Old Stage Road between County Road #14 and Middletown Line, 6 mailboxes were damaged. The unknown suspects smashed the mailboxes leaving the damaged remains behind for the homeowners to find.

The OPP advise that although people believe they may be playing harmless pranks, such acts are criminal and can have serious consequences.

The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see or hear anything suspicious to please contact the police.
