(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On Friday March 4, 2016 at approximately 6:30pm officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend a dispute at a Bobcaygeon residence.
Through an investigation it was determined that property had been damaged and a person assaulted. As a result, 19 year old Mason MAHONEY, of Bobcaygeon was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Assault contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm contrary to Section 264.1(1)(a) CCC
Mischief Over $5000 contrary to Section 430(3) CCC
Mischief Under $5000 contrary to Section 430(4) CCC
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 31, 2016.
