Mackenzie Rempel – Drunk Driving

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On September 12, 2016 at 12:45 am, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complainant on a motor vehicle in the Town of Fort Frances.

Officers located the motor vehicle on the 800 block of Kings Highway 11. The driver, Mackenzie Rempel, age 19 years of Winnipeg, failed the roadside test and was arrested and transported to OPP Detachment for breath tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory 7 days. The driver was subsequently charged with,

-Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.

He will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on September 12, 2016 to answer to the charge.
