(LAKESHORE, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Essex County, responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Essex County Road 22 in Lakeshore at approximately 5:20 p.m. on December 18, 2015.
While taking the report, the officer on scene received information about a possible impaired driver that was stopped in traffic near the scene.
The officer located the vehicle in question and spoke to the female and lone occupant of the black GMC pickup truck. She exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested.
Lynn YARDY, age 54 of Lakeshore was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content. She will appear in a Windsor Court on January 14, 2016 to answer to the charges.
