Lucan Resident Ejected In Collision Suffers Life Threatening Injuries

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On November 9, 2016, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police and the Middlesex London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Adelaide Street North, north of Fourteen Mile Road.

A black Jeep sport utility vehicle was travelling northbound on Adelaide Street north of Fourteen Mile Road, when it left the roadway, entered the west ditch, struck a laneway, became airborne, and came to rest in a field on its passenger side.

The driver and lone occupant, a 44-year-old male, from Lucan Biddulph, Ontario, was ejected in the crash, and transported by ambulance with life-threatening injuries to hospital. His current medical condition is not available.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene to assist with the investigation and the roadway was closed as a result. It has since been reopened.

This incident remains under investigation.
