(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 48-year-old male after police investigated a collision at a Head Street North, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at approximately 6:35 p.m., police and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to a vehicle collision involving an E-Bike operator.
Through investigation it was determined that the E-Bike was travelling on Head Street North when the operator lost control and collided with a parked motor vehicle.
The 48-year-old E-Bike operator suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 48-year-old Luc Andre LABONTE of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
