(TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON, ON) – On Tuesday August 1, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a robbery on Main Street East, Drayton. It was a reported a male wearing a disguise entered the RBC Bank with a weapon and stole an undetermined amount of cash. He left on foot eastbound on Main Street.
Investigators are releasing two photos of the suspect involved in the robbery. The suspect is described as being;
Male
Caucasian
Thin build
Wearing a dark blue ball cap with Montreal Canadiens logo on the front
Khaki shorts which fell below knee
Grey t-shirt
Black Bandanna covering his face
Investigators are considering that the same suspect may be responsible for a bank robbery which occurred in Milverton on July 25, 2017.
