Louis GORLICK – 125 in a 70

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On Monday July 9, 2018 at approximately 6:00 a.m., an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Winston Churchill Boulevard, north of Erin. The officer observed a male driving a yellow two-door hatchback at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 70 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 125 km/h, exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 55 km/h.

57-year-old Louis GORLICK of Orangeville has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on August 27, 2018. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
