(NORTH HURON, ON) – A 40 year old female is facing charges following a traffic stop on August 22, 2014. Just before 12:30 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a Pontiac Grand Prix travelling on London Road with improper licence plates affixed to the vehicle.
Upon stopping the vehicle, a check on the female’s driver licence revealed she was driving with a suspended driver’s licence. The driver was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed the driver to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.
As a result, 40 year old Lori LITTLECHILD from Brussels is facing charges of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Drive Under Suspension and Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle. She has a court appearance scheduled for September 8, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich to answer to the charges.
