London Police Finally Target Wanted Criminals – 24 Arrested In 6 Shifts

In the month of December 2014, members of the Community Oriented Response (COR) Unit ran a special project designed to locate persons wanted on outstanding warrants and those violating their conditions of release from custody.

Over a period of six shifts, spanning three weeks, the results are as follows:

Total arrests: 24
Warrants executed: 22
New criminal charges: 38 (three of which were drugs charges)

One of the arrested individuals was on the London Police Service Wanted/High Risk page.

Charges range from possession of prohibited weapon, possession of concealed weapon, uttering threats, possession of stolen property, fraud, use of stolen credit card, breach of recognizance, probation and undertaking.

Seized in the project were:

A taser

Several knives

Numerous stolen credit cards and identification

Numerous articles of property obtained by fraud

$350 in drugs
