(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On January 30, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a local restaurant in the Bobcaygeon area in response to a situation involving an act of mischief.
Upon arrival on scene officers observed that the front door to the establishment had been damaged. Investigation indicated that when a male party’s request for an alcoholic beverage was declined he became angry and damaged the door.
The officers located the male party who was subsequently arrested and charged. James MCLEAN, 51 years of age, of Bobcaygeon, faces a charge of mischief, under $5 000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on March 6, 2014.
