(MUNICIPALITY OF HURON EAST, ON) – Members of the Huron and Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit (ROPE), as well as the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), attended in Brussels this afternoon where they arrested a wanted male without incident.
33-year-old Daniel YORKE from Palmerston has been taken into custody shortly before 3 p.m. today. He had evaded police since Friday August 14, 2015, when he struck a police vehicle.
The accused is facing numerous criminal charges and will appear for a bail hearing in Stratford Bail Court on Wednesday August 19, 2015.
