(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron OPP officers have arrested and charged a female in relation to a break, enter and theft that occurred at the former Centralia College located on Airport Line in South Huron. Officers were dispatched to the college at 7:42 a.m. on May 3, 2012 after a security guard found a male inside the main building. The security guard gave chase however the suspect was able to flee in a small burgundy pick up truck.
Officers searched the building and located several break and enter tools and personal property left behind by the suspects. At approximately 8:30 a.m. a female wearing a security jacket was spotted walking around the property. When questioned, the female stated she had found the jacket and was looking for her cell phone.
After further questioning the female was identified and found to be connected to the break, enter and theft. As a result, Lisa GRIFFITHS, 40, from London, ON has been charged with Break and Enter, Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. She is currently in custody.
