(WAWA, ON) – On Friday November 25, 2016 at approximately 8:15 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision located on Highway 17 in the Bailloquet Township approximately 10 km north of Wawa Ontario.
At the scene officers conducted an investigation and as a result were able to determine that the vehicle involved was stolen from a Wawa address, police arrested and charged Lindsey TRUDEAU (25) of Penetanguishene Ontario with the following offences:
Adult Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle contrary to section 249(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada,
Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CCC
Adult Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CCC,
Adult Break and Enter a Dwelling House with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the CCC
The accused was held into custody for bail hearing.
