(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) -On May 17, 2017 at approximately 1:40 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E program on Highway 7 at the Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2015 Mitsubishi entered the R.I.D.E. program and officers believed the female driver had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
30-year-old Lindsey MARX of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 23, 2017. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
