(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 38 year old male with an Alcohol related driving offence and Stunt driving at a Hwy #6, Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday June 6th, 2015 at approximately 3:37 pm an officer on patrol observed a Dodge mini – van which appeared to be exceeding the posted speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour (kph). A R.A.D.A.R. unit was activated which found the vehicle to be travelling over 50 kph over the posted speed limit.
As a result the vehicle was stopped and the driver was spoken with. While speaking with the driver signs of impairment by alcohol was detected which lead to his arrest.
Charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with more than the legal limit of alcohol and Race a Motor Vehicle is 38 year old Levente TELEKI of Hamilton, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
