(Bancroft, Ontario) – In April of 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of a fraud that had occurred in the Bancroft area. The Bancroft OPP entered into an investigation with the assistance of the Hastings County Ontario Works. As a result of the investigation an adult female has been charged with several offences.
43 year old Lesley MCGILL of Carlow-Mayo Township has been charged with:
Fraud over $5000
Forgery
Uttering a forged document
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 25th of November 2014.
