On January 13, 2015 at 2:41 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Carden Street apartment after receiving a 911 call. At 2:53 a.m. a fire alarm to the building was pulled. Investigation determined that the male 911 caller also pulled the fire alarm. It was found that the male did not have a reason to call 911 or to pull the alarm and was subsequently arrested.
Lenny Moraldo, 49 years of Guelph has been charged with false alarm of fire under the Criminal Code. He will appear in court on February 27, 2015.
