(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On December 20, 2013, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers initiated a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Twp. The male driver of a 2008 Pontiac was spoken with and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Lee DUKE age 39 of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 14, 2014 to answer to the charge.
