(SUDBURY, ON)- On April 5, 2016, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members from the Warren Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17, in the town of Wahnapitae, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was under suspension and that the vehicle he was operating had no insurance.
Rejean LEBLANC, 35 years of age, from Sturgeon Falls, was charged with the following:
Driving while under suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Speeding, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Operate motor vehicle on a highway without insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on May 16, 2016.
