LCBO Robbed – John Topor and Matthew Dale Charged – Apartment Trashed

(Central Huron, ON) On January 2, 2010 at approximately 10:45 pm Huron OPP officers were dispatched to a glass break alarm at the LCBO in Clinton. Investigation led them to an Albert Street apartment for follow up but officers were initially running into roadblocks. At 5:00 am on January 3, 2010 however, police were called to the Albert Street apartment for a suspected domestic dispute. When officers arrived however, they determined that the incident was not domestic but was a fight that had occurred between two males who had been drinking together all night. The apartment had been severely damaged during the altercation. While police investigated however, they located the missing alcohol from the LCBO. The identities of both males were determined. One was arrested on the scene and the second was arrested later at his own residence.

While investigating the incident police also located other suspected stolen property. As a result of the incident, Matthew Ronald DALE (24) of Central Huron is now facing one count of Break and Enter, one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, two counts of Mischief Under $5000 and four counts of Breach Probation. He was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Also charged was John TOPOR (24) of Central Huron. He was also held in police custody to face two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, one count of Break and Enter and two counts of Breach Probation.
