(NORTH BAY, ON) – On April 14, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m., a member of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a traffic complaint on Highway 17, City of North Bay. Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol.
As a result of the officer’s investigation, Julie LAVALLEE, 35 years of age from Sudbury, Ontario, was arrested and charged with:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, as per section 253(1)(b) contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).
Driving While Ability Impaired- Motor Vehicle (Alcohol), as per section 253(1)(a) (CC)
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on May 3, 2016 to answer to her charges.
