Lauren Eedy – Drunk Driving Before Noon, Rolled Vehicle

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Thursday August 25, 2011 shortly before the noon hour, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle rollover-crash on Line 14 north east of St.Marys.

Police investigation ascertained that the vehicle involved in the crash, a Chevrolet Impala, had been travelling east bound on Line 14. The driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to enter the north ditch where it rolled and came to rest on its roof. The driver did not sustain injuries as a result of the crash however she did display signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where two Intoxilyzer breath tests confirmed that she had a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Lauren Eedy (26) of St.Marys has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. She is set to appear in Stratford Provincial Court on September 26, 2011 to answer to these charges. She was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
