On September 1, 2015, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a Cambridge residence. Six adult males were arrested in connection to the investigation and charged with numerous drug-related offences. All six men have been remanded in police custody pending the results of a show cause hearing on September 2, 2015. Police seized quantities of marihuana, cannabis resin, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, cocaine powder, prescription pills and prohibited weapons. A substantial amount of cash was also seized as offence-related property. Waterloo Regional Police are committed to working in partnership with the community to curtail illegal drugs and drug activity.
