(HUNTINGFORD, ON.). – On January 3, 2014 Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) resulting in a female being charged.
At approximately 8:40 pm on January 3, 2014, a vehicle approached the R.I.D.E. check located On Highway 59 North, Huntingford. As a result of the investigation, police have charged 53 year old Lana FLEMING of St. Thomas under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Drive with More than 80 milligrams of Alcohol in Blood (Criminal Code of Canada)
Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt (Highway Traffic Act)
The female was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 28, 2014.
