(PEMBROKE, ON) – On April 05, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a fraud in progress at the Walmart in Laurentian Valley Township. Walmart staff observed a male returning a store item that had not been paid for. The suspect left on foot and was arrested by police a short distance away. As a result 22 year old Brandon LAMOUREUX of Pembroke is charged with one count of Fraud Under $5000. He was released on a Promise To Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 07, 2016.
