(LAKESHORE, ON) -One more impaired driver was removed from the road following an arrest last night in Lakeshore just after midnight.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore, on routine patrol, on First Street near Broadway Street, observed a blue Chrysler which appeared to have run off the road.
Officers approached the solo male occupant of the vehicle who exhibited signs of impairment and arrested him at the scene.
Steven PONIC, age 32 of Lakeshore has been charged with Care and Control While Impaired and Care and Control While Over 80 Mgs of Blood Alcohol Content.
He will appear in a Windsor court on February 27, 2014.
