LAKESHORE MAN CHARGED

(TECUMSEH, ON) – An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol on October 7, 2014 at approximately 6:35 p.m. in Tecumseh observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner.

The officer was stopped in traffic northbound awaiting a red light on Banwell Road when he observed a vehicle in his rear view mirror pull out and proceed into oncoming traffic in an attempt to get into the left hand turn lane.

Two vehicles that were heading in the opposite direction were forced onto the shoulder to avoid a head on collision with the suspect vehicle. No one was injured.
