(LAKESHORE, ON) – On November 7, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore responded to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of First St. in the Town of Belle, River, Ontario. A black GMC Sport Utility Vehicle had reportedly struck another vehicle and left the scene.
Police located the vehicle on Fourth Street in Belle River a short time later and the driver was issued a roadside screening device which he failed.
Derek O’NEIL, age 39 of Lakeshore, Ontario will appear in a Windsor, Ontario courtroom on November 30, 2016 to answer to the charge of Drive Motor Vehicle With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol.
