(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 11 South just north of Doe Lake Road in Gravenhurst today, Tuesday November 3rd 2015 just after noon. The vehicle collided with a crash truck in an area where ditches were being cleared, left the roadway and came to rest on its roof. The driver of the vehicle and one of the workmen on site were transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police have charged 19 year-old Kyle KING of Bracebridge with Careless Driving contrary to section 172 of the Highway Traffic Act.
Police would like to remind drivers of all vehicles to be cautious while travelling through construction areas as there are many individuals on foot and therefore vulnerable while they do their jobs.
