(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 29, 2014 at approximately 3:11 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program at Highway 7 and Guelph-Woolwich Town Line, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driving a 2013 Toyota was spoken with and it was revealed that his driver’s licence was under suspension. He was arrested and during the search, approximately 22 grams of suspected marijuana was seized. He was released with court documents at the scene.
Kyle GAMMIE age 29 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 6, 2015.
