(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 20, 2016 at approximately 9:40 p.m. a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was driving behind a possible impaired driver in a 2014 Chrysler on Wellington Road 26 near Side Road 20, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A stop was made and while talking with the male driver, the officer believed that he was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing.
39-year-old Kristopher DOMINATO of Rockwood has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 13, 2016.
His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
