(ORILLIA, ON.) – On Friday May 15, 2015 at approximately 1:00 a.m., an Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on routine patrol when the officer observed a motor vehicle at the corner of West Street North and Mississaga Street in the City of Orillia. The vehicle was being operated without proper headlights and the officer conducted a traffic stop.
After further investigation the driver was arrested and charged.
Kristopher BUTLER, 30 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and will be answering to the charges in Orillia court on June 2, 2015.
