(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -A single motor vehicle collision resulted in the arrest of the driver who now faces Criminal Code charges.
On October 12, 2013 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision in which a vehicle had driven into a tree on Bayview Estate Road.
Investigation revealed that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver had cuts to his face and was transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
As a result of the investigation, Konstantins RAZEVS, 55 years of age, of Richmond Hill, was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving and driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on December 5, 2013.
