(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -On October 12, 2013 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting patrols in the Fenelon Falls area when a prohibited weapon was observed on a male party.
The officers, who had approached the male on another matter, noted that the male was carrying a knife that was spring assisted and thus a prohibited weapon pursuant to the Criminal Code.
As a result of the investigation, Tomasz LAZARSKI, 20 years of age, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged for the offence of possession of a prohibited weapon. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on November 7, 2013.
