Kittens Thrown From Moving Vehicle – Two Rescued, One Still Missing

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 31 year old woman with Animal Cruelty after investigating a complaint at a Sandusk Road, Haldimand County, ON address.

On Saturday December 12th, 2015 at approximately 12:20 pm Police were notified of an animal cruelty complaint after kittens had been observed being discarded from a moving vehicle on Sandusk Road near Walpole Concession Road #13.

As a result of the investigation it was determined that three (3) kittens had been discarded. A search of the area revealed two kittens which appeared to be approximately 10 weeks old. One kitten was unharmed and one sustained minor injuries. They were examined and treated by Hagersville Veterinary Services before being turned over to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Welland, ON for further care. The third kitten was not located.

As a result of the ensuing Police investigation 31 year old Nicole MORROW of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with 3 counts of Cruelty to Animals. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
