(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 1, 2013 at approximately 1:15 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) R.I.D.E team were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 7 at the Guelph-Woolwich Townline in Guelph-Eramosa Township. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2002 Acura that entered into the checkpoint and a small quantity of marihuana was seized.
Kirk Reynolds aged 25 of Kitchener has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 24, 2014 to answer to the charge.
