(KENORA, ON) On Wednesday March 2nd, 2016 at approximately 8:30 am, officers from the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle parked on First Street South in the City of Kenora, and there was concern for the male driver who was inside the vehicle.
Attending officers spoke with the lone driver and determined he had been consuming alcohol. He was subsequently transported to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, Daryl KIRCHNER, 38 years of age, from Kenora has been charged with the following:
-Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol
-Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over .80 mgs of Alcohol
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on March 31st, 2016 to answer to the charges.
