(Killaloe, Hagarty Richards Township, ON) On Friday, March 13, 2015 Provincial Constable Barry Nisbet received a traffic complaint. As a result of a vehicle stop Connor STEWART, 20 years of age of Peterborough was charged with
– Possession of Marihuana contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to section 145(5.1) (four counts) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Breach of Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) (four counts) of the Criminal Code of Canada

RIDE PROGRAM LEADS TO CHARGES
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) On Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 Sgt. Dave Moore was conducting a RIDE program on Highway 60. Clarissa GRUNTZ, 28 years of age of South Algonquin Township was charged with
– Possession of Marihuana contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
– Possession of Schedule One Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
– Breach of Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

THEFT OF SNOW MACHINE
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable Jordan Bullis is investigating the theft of a snow machine from B Trail. The 2010 Arctic Cat had mechanical issues and was left near Paugh Lake intersection of B Trail. Sometime during the evening of March 10, 2015 and March 11, 2015 unknown persons removed the disabled snow machine from the trail. MISCHIEF
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) Killaloe OPP is investigating a mischief to a vehicle. The vehicle appears to have been keyed scratching the paint. The vehicle was damaged sometime between Thursday March 5 and Friday March 6, 2015. If anyone has information contact the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
(Bonnechere Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable Cory Briscoe is investigating the mischief done to a vehicle that was parked at Alice Street, Eganville. Sometime between Tuesday March 3, 2015 and Wednesday March 4, 2015 unknown person(s) caused damage to the brake line of a GMC Uplander. FRAUD
Police are reminding the public to be aware of ongoing Frauds and Scams. Recently Killaloe OPP received a complaint of a cheque that had been received in the mail for the sale of a painting on Kijiji. The painting had been listed for $100 and the cheque received was $2,469.00. Be aware of ongoing money scams and be cautious with your money.
