During the week of April 6 – April 12, 2015 there were 90 calls for service. There were eight motor vehicle collisions; four were related to wild animals.

There were four domestic dispute calls for service during the week of April 6 – April 12, 2015. No charges were laid.

NUMEROUS CHARGES LAID FROM BREAK, ENTER THEFT INVESTIGATION

(South Algonquin Township, ON) On Wednesday, April 8, 2015 Provincial Constable Mike Holbrook investigated a break, enter and theft to a residence on Park Street, Whitney. Provincial Constable Holbrook conducted a motor vehicle stop as a result of information received from his investigation. The male failed to remain at the traffic stop. The vehicle was identified and subsequently stopped by Provincial Constable Jordan Bullis shortly after. The male, 31 year old Adam LINSEMAN of Palmerston, Ontario was arrested and charged with

– Flight While Pursued by Police Officer (2 counts) contrary to section 249.1(1)

– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to section 249(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to section 92(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Break and Enter a Place – commit an Indictable Offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Theft Under $5000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Possession of a Schedule One substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.

– Possession of Ammunition or Firearm contrary to Firearms Prohibition (2 counts) contrary to section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 (2 counts)contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 counts) contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

LINSEMAN is in custody for a bail hearing on April 16, 2015.
