On the 29 March 2016, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Devin Leeworthy and Constable Andrew Wierzbicki attended a residence in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. and located a motor vehicle that had previously been reported as stolen. As a result of police investigation 27 yr. old Jessie Rose TALES of Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. has been charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle section 333.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date at the Ontario Court of Justice, Killaloe.
Assault, Mischief and Breach Charges
On the 27 March 2016 at approximately 8: 54 a.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Devin Leeworthy and Constable Andrew Wierzbicki attended an address in Madawaska Valley Twp. to investigate an assault call. As a result of police investigation, a 36 yr. old male has been charged with Mischief x 3 section 430(4), Assault x 3 section 266, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, x 2 section 267(b), Overcoming Resistance, section 246(a), Administer Noxious Substance, 245(a) and Fail to Comply with Undertaking Conditions x 3 section 145 (5.1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused will appear in bail court, Ontario Court of Justice Pembroke. The name of the accused has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
