Killaloe OPP Weekly Release

During the week of the 25 April 2016, to the 1 May 2016, there were 101 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.

There were ten motor vehicle collisions, ten were animal related.

There were six domestic dispute calls for service during the week of the 25 April 2016, to the 1 May 2016. There was one domestic related incident involving criminal code charges.

Traffic Stop Arrest

On the 28 April 2016 at approximately 8:12 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jason Golds and Constable Ryan Lapierre conducted a traffic stop on #60 Highway in Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Twp. Subsequent to police investigation, the driver, Michel MURPHY-LOUISEIZE 20 yrs. of Cache Bay has been charged with Possession of a Scheduled Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Breach of Probation x 2 section 733.1(1) and Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime section 354(1) (a) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for bail court, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke.
